Central Park

Central Park, in New York City, is such a popular attraction that it doesn't even need a recommendation. From the man-made ponds and lakes where you could enjoy a boat ride to the beautiful paths where you can ride on a horse and carriage, there is always something to do or see here.

After a few visits to this iconic park, I started to see the beauty beyond the typical tourist activities. As I wondered through the Park with my film camera on a sunny spring day I came across this man (pictured above) underneath an overpass near the fountain in Central Park. His music resonated throughout the area and drew many spectators closer as he intensely played his worn out instrument.

Around the park you will find many forms of entertainment from the talented New York residents. You can find singers, dancers, and groups of acrobats spread throughout the park. On the outskirts you can also find many artists that typically sketch the customer's caricature on the spot. These people bring out such character that defines New York City. It is definitely a place where you can immerse your self of this New York culture for the day in a more calm setting.

Whether it be the beautiful scenery or the talented people within it, you will always find something special at Central Park.
